A: It's a DDR simfile pack I created on my own for Stepmania or Dance With Intensity use.
Q: What does t7r stand for?
A: tsugaru7reveng
Q: Can I call you t7r?
A: Sure, provided that the t and the r are lowercased.
Q: Where does your name originate?
A: The song TSUGARU, by RevenG VS DE-SIRE from DDRMAX2: Dance Dance Revolution 7th Mix.
Q: Why did you choose to name yourself after that song?
A: It was my favorite song.
Q: You are SOOO unoriginal.
A: I have other aliases too, you know.
Q: What are those aliases?
A: I'm commonly known as tsugaru7reveng. In some other sites, I'm known as khdu, H.D.Vision, SOLID STEAK SQUAD or Nagecks (with a possible style added to it, first, substream, second, thitrd, fourth, fifth, sixth, seveth, eighth, ninth, tenth, IIDX RED, HAPPY SKY, DistorteD, DJ TROOPERS or even GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD).
Q: What is a simfile?
A: I can't explain. I'm pretty sure there are others who can explain it better, but here's the thing: It's a file containing the stepcharts and the audio of the song for use in Stepmania or Dance With Intensity or any other simulator out there. If you don't get what I'm saying, Google 'simfile'.
Q: What is Stepmania or Dance With Intensity?
A: They are simulators based on the Dance Dance Revolution game.
Q: Which is better?
A: Everyone else uses Stepmania now, and personally, I think Stepmania is better. Dance With Intensity hasn't been worked on for a long time.
Q: Which do you recommend?
A: Stepmania
Q: Which type of music do you like simming?
A: Mostly Bemani songs, although I tend to step rock music occasionally.
Q: ROCK MUSIC IS NOT DANCEABLE.
A: It just so happens that I love rock music, and I can step whatever I want. I can even step Maroon 5. (no wai)
Q: STEP GAY AMINÉ SONGS INSTEAD.
A: Animé songs aren't my thing, but I'd be glad if I can step a dance speed remix of the Ayashi no Ceres intro theme. :P
Q: I know a song you might want to step. Can you step it?
A: Yes, provided that 1) I like the song, and 2) I have passion to step it.
Q: How often do you make simfiles?
A: Depends. Usually, when I'm bored.
Q: How many simfiles will be in this pack?
A: It will be up to my choosing when to end the mix. For now, I'll say around 70.
Q: How come in the simfiles page, the song titles are color coded?
A: I'm pulling of a DDR here. Yellow ones are songs that aren't Konami originals. Green ones are Konami originals. Cyan ones have showed up in the late t7r mix: REVOLUTIONARY EVOLUTION. White ones showed up in the late t7r mix: MASTERPIECE SULFUR. Pink ones have been in other packs, contests, or in DDR itself before I started this mix.. Red ones are boss songs. Rose ones are t3h ULTiMATE pwnz0r ones.
Q: I'm liking the SN2-ish scheme of how you update. Can I have the font you use in those SN2-ish images?
A: Sure. I'll post the Digital font soon.
Q: WHAT'S WITH THE HARRY POTTER GIMMICKS? HOW COME LEAVING ALL BEHIND HAS GRYFFINDOR THINGY>? WTF?!
A: Well, as the theme states, it's t7r mix: MAGICAL MELTDOWN. I repeat. MAGICAL. I'm also a Harry Potter fan, and I want to somehow apply my love for the series in this pack.
Q: Which songs are Gryffindor?
A: The ones where I feel that I'm brave enough to conquer my fears. They have the red SN2 backgrounds.
Q: Which songs are Hufflepuff?
A: The ones with a happy mood, or somewhat having a fun emotion. They have the yellow SN2 backgrounds.
Q: Which songs are Ravenclaw?
A: The ones that feel as if they show wisdom. YES. THE DEEP STRIKER IS IN BLUE. They have the royal blue SN2 backgrounds.
Q: Which songs are Slytherin?
A: The ones that hate those fucking mudbloods. The ones that think they want to KILL. KILL DUDE. They have the green SN2 backgrounds.
Q: How come there are other images in the backgrounds instead of the SN2 images?
A: I felt like putting those in the SN2 backgrounds.
Q: Wait... your backgrounds are generic? I WANT CUSTOM BACKGROUNDS! THE ONES LIKE IN THE PAST DDRS!
A: I feel that backgrounds are out of fashion since SuperNOVA. Personally, I hate making background images. You can go ahead and make your own and send it to me, and I'ld be glad to open up a gallery section dedicated to your custom backgrounds. Or better yet, they may be included in the simfile pack!
Q: How come there are black or white SN2 backgrounds?
A: White ones are Order of the Phoenix while black ones are Death Eaters.
Q: What's the difference?
A: The Death Eaters are the Extra Stages and Encore Extra Stages while the Order of the Phoenix are t3h ULTiMATE pwnz0r ones.
Q: How many boss songs will there be?
A: How many did SuperNOVA 2 have? I think I'll have more than what SN2 has though, but not too much.
Q: How will the Extra Stage system be?
A: I'll release certain songs that'll become the *tentative* Extra or Encore Stages. Those tentative ones are still counted as boss songs until the final set of boss songs has been released. (a la SuperNOVA 2)
Q: Do it!! Do it!!'s a Hufflepuff?
A: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Do it!!
Q: You're kind enough to provide romanized images. How do we use them?
A: Copy-paste them from the -alt folder, and move the Japanese ones somewhere else, preferably into that -alt folder.
Q: What are those -char.png files for?
A: They're for Dance With Intensity, so the -char.png file can be displayed in the songwheel.
Q: How can I contact you? I want to talk to you or send my custom background.
A: I'm known as tsugaru7reveng in Bemanistyle and in DDR:UK. PM me the image there.
Q: Image requirements...
A: 640x480, and they should be close to how they look in the banner, or they can be a screencap from the respective song's video, provided that it has text and it doesn't look grainy.
Q: Are you going to have more mixes after this?
A: Probably.
Q: It's been a long time since you released your last sims.
A: I have a life too, you know. A life outside of computers.
Q: Your simfile is offsync.
A: Tell me. I'll fix it. If it's a file with dynamic BPM changes (something like Leaving All Behind or NEMESIS), then I couldn't do anything about it. Changing BPMs for their songs are pretty hard.
Q: Leaving All Behind and NEMESIS and <insert another song with LOTS of BPM changes> aren't loading in DWI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A: I believe DWI doesn't support BPM changes that go from one 1/4th beat to the next 1/4th beat. You'll have to use Stepmania if you want those sims to work.
Q: You release simfiles fast enough in April and May, but how come June onwards, it's slow?
A: School's killing me.
Q: Wait... You have school on June? THAT'S SUMMER! I didn't know you has schools on summer?!
A: I live in the Philippines, and in my country, school starts in June and ends in March. Expect a low rate of simfile release during that period of time.
Q: What are t7r mix: MASTERPIECE SULFUR and t7r mix: REVOLUTIONARY EVOLUTION?
A: My first two dead mixes.
Q: Why'dya kill them?
A: Most of the sims in each pack had terrible steps. I feel that they don't deserve a pack.
Q: This is one long FAQ.
A: I know.
Q: How come in some of the backgrounds, there are text? I find them in Kyokutou shiki, Nageki no ki and TROOPERS.
A: They're in the video, or the IIDX LED marquee. Well, I just felt like putting them in.
Q: How come you wrote some songs in the FAQ and I can't find a simfile of yours in the site?
A: They will be released eventually. Just wait.
Q: Do you still have the right to eliminate songs from this mix like what you did to ONIHIME, YOSHIDASAN and Akai suzu (album remake) before?
A: Yes. The simfile author has rights to everything in the simfile pack. He can eliminate songs, add songs, approve or disapprove simfile requests or even have sex with his pack. Kidding about the last part.
Q: How come YOU HAVE/HAD A LOT OF ASAKI SONGS AND MODEL DD SONGS?
A: You must've seen t7r mix: MASTERPIECE SULFUR then. Now, I'm trying to limit Asaki songs and MODEL DD songs by 4 and 2, respectively. This is also why I abandoned t7r mix: MASTERPIECE SULFUR in the first place.
Q: You have a MySpace, right? If so, what is it? Can I add you?
A: Sure. Go crazy.

Q: How come some songs' display BPM is twice the regular BPM, but in-game, it plays in the regular BPM?
A: It's a gimmick of mine. I ripped off GFDM.
Q: You ripped off DDR, IIDX, and even Harry Potter as well. YOU'RE UNORIGINAL! LIKE YOUR USERNAME!
A: Almost all simfile packs are ripoffs too, you know. Geez. Technically, they're all ripoffs of DDR. Even Stepmania itself.
Q: Do you make ITG-style steps?
A: No. I hate ITG, and I won't make ITG-style steps for my sims.
Q: Your steps are so boooooooooooooooooooring. I want harder charts! Hard ones like what Eggman makes!
A: I don't make keyboard sims. I make pad sims.
Q: Pad?! You can play them on pad?!
A: Yes.

A: You need a dance pad and some USB connector thingy to have fun with my files. Well, you can still have fun with them on keyboard though, if you're the type that doesn't find pad steps boring on keyboard.

Q: Do you make simfiles out of songs that have been in DDR already?
A: When they're there before I bother to make them, no. This particularly goes to crossovers. I don't make sims out of DDR originals though.

A: There's the DDR:UK official sim pack, w1p3out and his Dancing WipEout series, Super_Ray and his lovely pop'n sims, Digi379 and his J-Files, Akira, Lilina, for his somewhat harsh criticisms, though still constructive, Sakura_Guy for coming up with the first simfile contest I ever entered, in which was the beginning of the era of my stepchart improvement and everyone who liked my sims, even in those days I had those crappy steps.

A: I'll think about it. I have craploads of 179-180 BPM songs already, and somehow, I have to balance.
