CaptivAte zwei

I was thinking between having to step this song or not, since I have 2 CaptivAtes in my mix, and I was thinking of limiting them. But since I love this song so much, I might as well include it then.
I made a decent 9-footer in Heavy. Good luck with the last part that has 16ths.

This is probably my favorite banner. I just couldn't help but look at it.
Since it came from EMPRESS and it didn't have a unique video, I colored the background mauve-ish pink-ish whatever... something EMPRESS-ish. It's pretty obvious as to what was the source background I used.
Yet, the song has a unique title card. Over the few days when I was imagining how I would make its banner, I thought I should use Century Gothic for "CaptivAte2" and such, but hey. I remembered that it had a unique title card, and so while doskoislayer's vid was still up in YouTube, I tried to copy the title card with matching fonts. "CaptivAte" was in Garamond, except for the v which was in Book Antiqua. I liked how it matched the actual title card. What sucks was that I didn't have the correct font for the number 2, since the tail of the first stroke (whatever it's called) is straight and not slanted. I'm pretty sure the original font used there was that same font used for the artist name in the IIDX title card. So... I used ugh. Arial, which looked pretty close enough.

Then I found the title card from somewhere. I used that as the new font so it would look accurate.

I am so crazy enough that since the song is based on THE FANG(TROOPERS STANCE), the DJ TROOPERS theme, and that DJ TROOPERS is green, and none of the houses have pink, I put this in Slytherin.

When I was in the bathroom, either taking a bath or taking a shit, I visualized on how a CaptivAte2 video would look like if there would be one. It would all be purple/mauve/lavender and stuff, kinda like a change in color scheme of CaptivAte ~SABAKI~. I thought of making a wallpaper for myself because I love the song so much.
For once, I was making a serious wallpaper, with Photoshop. At first, I wanted the wallpaper's background to be either plain black or white, with just the logo of the title, the artist and the romanized lyrics. Then I thought of my banner. I added the purple/mauve/lavender color all over, added some shapes, brush tool dabs (those white dots you see), lens flare/ lighting whatever that's called, big fat Japanese characters that say "Kakusei", a picture of an eye, lines, etc. and you get this image.
That's the wallpaper. I based the new bg image on the wallpaper I made.
